I will check out the song-thanks for the tip. Hope all is well with you guys! Miss you tons! We have to get out that way to visit sometime. Are your little ones in school yet (I am assuming Alana is but I couldn't remember how old everyone else was)?Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08130423275018373500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1791985385461820909.post-81435058867167949272010-09-08T16:38:34.998-07:002010-09-08T16:38:34.998-07:00thanks for sharing with us Lisa. I cannot control everything (anything) that I think I can and God gave me Andy to help sanctify and "cover" me. He has shown me Christ many times in his patience, actions and love. I am so thankful for him and frustrated with my own stubbornness that prevents me from hearing his wisdom.

Your post made me think of the song "Strong Hands". Have you heard it? If not, go on YouTube and check it out; it's a great reminder to me of my "position" as a wife (not the head of our family).Amber Stiteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13421495063022624249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1791985385461820909.post-91598193688638600782010-09-08T07:52:53.554-07:002010-09-08T07:52:53.554-07:00I heard a pastor (male) preach this topic years ag...I heard a pastor (male) preach this topic years ago, and he said the same thing- that the man was designed to be our covering, and he wasn't doing his job of covering us when that happened. I get that you are not ragging on men, just explaining how we, as women, tend to feel many times, and explaining, perhaps, where the habit of NOT covering us comes from. I don't think any strong Christian men would be offended at all, plus it's right there in the text, so how can one dispute it? It's easy to make it all our fault, but that's only half the story. Thank you for sharing what's on many of our hearts.chanamiatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03383160936002186136noreply@blogger.com
